Flash Fiction

The freedom that unemployment affords has led me to look at some different things over the last few months. One of the things that drew my attention is flash fiction. Flash fiction are short short stories. Word count is extremely limited with 1000 words being the widely agreed to standard. Get more concise details from wikipedia > here.



I decided in all my new found freedom (read boredom) to take a shot at it. Managing to compose a few short stories in an even smaller writing genre, micro fiction, I've posted a few here > editred.



Some of the short stories here are very good, some are very bad and mine I think squarely fall in the mediocre middle of the pile. Feel free to give them a read, but be warned, they tend to be dark and morbid and not something you want to start your day off with.
